Gwyn and Alun

The Society's President ran into the rather large figure of Wales's Rugby World Cup captain in hospital recently. Hope you passed on some tips, Gwyn!!

Gwyn Thomas was in the radiotherapy Department having finished his radiotherapy treatment was invited to meet Alun Wyn Jones who was at the Cancer clinic supporting the Doctors and Specialist Nurses who work there.

Gwyn congratulated him on  being chosen as the Winner of the Wales sports personality of the year and on the very successful Rugby World Cup. Gwyn said it was a thrill talking to this gentle giant.
