IT equipment

Thanks to a small grant from the Community Foundation in Wales, the Society has managed to buy some new IT equipment to help us with our activities. We have bought a Samsung Galaxy tablet which will help us enhance our website and keep better records of our activities e.g. videos of trips, some aspects of meetings  and allow our members to access some historical apps. Perhaps more importantly, from a practical point of  view, a new projector screen has been purchased which will mean that the head scratching a quarter of an hour before a meeting will be a thing of the past. The Church has been very generous over the years in letting us use their screen and I hope that we will be able to reciprocate their generosity in future. Brenda will give us a demonstration of its uses after the formal business of the AGM.

Remember, the Annual General Meeting  is on Monday, 9th September in the church hall at the usual time of 7:00.
