The mystery of the watch is solved

Hello again Trefor, Just a quick update to let you know that the workplace in Wales have managed to trace the Mr Davidson who has lost the watch. Sadly he has since passed away but I look forward to returning the watch to his widow as soon as the snow allows! She still lives just a couple of miles away in Luton. At least this closes a chapter with a happy ending. Its sad that Mr Davidson is no longer with us but at least the family have been reunited with a treasured momento. It is also a fantastic illustration of the power of the internet.
